Differences in brain activation in holistic and analytical thinkers elicited by watching a movie on moral dilemma

At the annual meeting of the Cognitive Neuroscience Society (CNS), which took place online on May 2-5, 2020, the scientific director of the social neuroscience laboratory Iiro Jaskelainen and the laboratory researcher Enrico Glerean presented a report on the study of brain activity in two groups of subjects: those who are prone to analytical analysis of information, and those who perceive information holistically. A study conducted using the intersubject correlation method showed that when watching a movie about a moral dilemma in a group of people who perceive information in a similar way, brain activity has a similar localization.
