The V International Forum «COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE – 2022» in Yekaterinburg

Colleagues from the International Social Neurobiology Laboratory and the Centre of Cognition & Decision Making of the Institute for Cognitive Neuroscience presented their research at the V International Forum «COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE – 2022» in Yekaterinburg.

The forum took place at the Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin on 9-10 December 2022. More than 400 experts in neurobiology, psychology, neuropsychology, pedagogy, data analysis, and economics participated in the event. 

Researchers from Russia, Canada, Turkey, and other countries discussed such topics as:

• Educational neuroscience and cognitive aspects of learning

• Рsychogenetics and cognitive development

• Clinical psychology and mental health

• Neuro- and psycholinguistics

• Neuro- and cognitive heuristics

• Behavioral economics and neuromarketing

• Psychological well-being in the digital world

• Cognitive aspects of aging

• Practical application of cognitive technologies

"Cognitive neuroscience - 2022" featured plenary sessions, sections, symposia, business roundtables, and project demonstrations to integrate the experience of leading experts in fundamental and practical cognitive neuroscience.

Mikhail Lebedev, Ph.D., Scientific Director of the Higher School of Economics Center for Bioelectrical Interfaces, Associate Professor, Center for Neuroengineering, Duke University (Durham, USA).

Alan Kaluev, Ph.D., Director of ZENEREI Research Center (USA), Distinguished Chair Professor of Neuroscience and Pharmacology at GDO University (China), Professor of Neuroscience at St. Petersburg State University (St. Petersburg, Russia).

Theophilius Lazarus, Ph.D., MD, Clinical and Forensic Neuropsychologist, Research Fellow, Department of Psychology, Emory University (Atlanta, USA).

Vittorio Calabrese, Ph.D., MD, Head of School of Clinical Pathology and Clinical Biochemistry, Full Professor Clinical Biochemistry at the University of Catania (Catania, Italy).
