International Laboratory of Social Neurobiology (HSE Institute for Cognitive Neuroscience, Russia) and Aalto University (Finland) welcomed you to attend the 1^st International Conference on Social Neuroscience in Ecologically Valid Conditions, taking place on 21-23 June 2021 in online format!

About the Conference

Rapid methodological advances are increasingly making it possible to conduct social neuroscience studies in ecologically valid conditions. These novel approaches span from neuroimaging studies with naturalistic stimuli such as movies to the use of wearable sensors in real life social interactions. Topics in this new area of research span from investigation of the neural basis of social cognition, unravelling the effects of cultural influences, to investigation of the biological basis of intergroup biases.

The Conference programme included oral presentations of invited speakers and poster spotlight presentations (5 min talk + questions). 

- Day 1, June 21 "Social neuroimaging: Novel ecologically valid approaches"

- Day 2, June 22 "Modulation of attitudes and behavior by ecologically valid social contexts"

- Day 3, June 23 "Addressing cross- and intra-cultural differences in social science, neuroscience and psychology"
